We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and managing all accounts payable transactions for our company.
This is a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records and maintaining positive relationships with vendors.
Duties:
Verify proper approval and coding of invoices Process invoices and ensure accuracy of information Process payroll timesheets (coding and data entry) Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable Provide support for audits and other financial inquiries Ensures all invoices coded to intercompany operations are recorded properly Proper filing of unpaid and paid invoices Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred - Able to type a minimum of 45 WPM - Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role - Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices (GAPP) - Proficient in using Sage accounting software - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Good communication and interpersonal skills
