Dentist
POSITION
Summary:
This position isresponsible to assess patient needs, plan, and delivery comprehensive andemergency dental services to patients of all ages.
Positions are for full time employment, butthe expectation is that Providers will generally put in over 40 hours per weekperforming clinical, lab, and recordkeeping functions.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center,patient access is a primary consideration influencing individual work schedulesand clinic hours.
Providers shouldanticipate the possibility of working at multiple locations and clinics areopen Mon - Sat.
Providers will need toprovide faculty supervision to residents and be responsible for their competentprovision of care to patients of the Center.
Allocation of time between patient care and support of the residencyprogram is determined by the Dental Director.
EDUCATION/
Experience:
1.
Possessionof a valid, recognized dental license to practice in the State of Hawaii2.
AccreditedU.
S.
dental graduates who have not taken the Hawaii State Dental Boardexamination or ADEX, must obtain a Temporary or a Community Health CenterHawaii Dental license3.
CurrentDEA and State Narcotic Registration is required of all licenses with theexception of a holder of the Temporary license4.
BLScertification, if not in possession at time of employment, is required within 3months of hire5.
