Medical Receptionist
POSITION
Summary:
In conjunction with other ED team members and representatives of WCCHC Administration, provide patient services by answering phone calls, making patient appointment and routes clinical calls in accordance with practice policies.
Perform business in a courteous and professional manner.
Greet patients, obtain and verify patient information.
Observe strict patient confidentiality at all times.
EDUCATION/
Experience:
1.
High School Diploma or equivalent 2.
Successful completion of a medical terminology course 3.
Good communication and interpersonal skills 4.
Have efficient computer skills 5.
Can hear a normal speaking voice 6.
Can read, write and speak English well 7.
OSHA certification annually 8.
BLS certification annually 9.
Ability to maintain highly sensitive, confidential material 10.
